arriving in Warsaw

I have landed in Warsaw on 21st May. I was lucky that Modlin Airport was not yet ready and that low cost companies do land on the Chopin Airport, which is actually in Warsaw and not 50 km far from the city:) The weather was brilliant. Much better than in Bologna, which I was departing from. In Warsaw 26 degrees and a sunny day. I was thinking "they should never say Poland is cold!". Well, the good weather did not last long. Within a few hours it got 10 degrees colder, at night the temperature dropped by another 10 degrees. It started to rain and did not stop till I was leaving Warsaw, which was a week later.

The new part of the Airport has been built recently, it is still all shiny and modern. Below some pictures:

From the Chopin Airport you can get to the city centre very easy - with the 175 bus (the ticket cost 3.40 zlotys, so not even one euro and the bus gets you to the central railway station) and with a train that will bring you to the central railway station in 25 minutes (http://www.lotnisko-chopina.pl/en/passenger/access-and-car-parks/train/train?cl=en&set_language=en), which is a better option if you are in a hurry, since the Żwirki i Wigury Street, on which is the route of the 175 is constantly jamed.
